Intellectual Awareness Unit

Responsibilities
The Unit seeks to implement the ministerial objectives assigned to it, which are:
  • Strengthening loyalty to religion, then to the leadership, and reinforcing national belonging and national unity.
  • Promoting a culture of moderation, balance, tolerance, and coexistence.
  • Preventing extremist ideology and addressing its effects.
  • Monitoring violations and extremist intellectual and behavioral phenomena.
  • Encouraging academic and research initiatives related to intellectual issues.
  • Identifying and addressing negative phenomena that lead to imbalance and deviation from the framework of societal values.
