The Psychology Laboratory

The significance of the Psychology Laboratory lies in its role in advancing the understanding of human behavior, mental processes, development, and personality disorders. It also plays a key role in training students in the scientific methodology used in psychological research and in highlighting the laboratory’s contribution to scientific inquiry and community service.

The laboratory was established with the aim of providing services related to psychological and educational assessment and evaluation for psychology students and professionals in the psychological field.

The lab offers a practical environment where students can apply the theoretical concepts they study in psychology and connect them with real-world practice. Through laboratory experiments, students gain an understanding of how psychological research is conducted and how to interpret and evaluate findings.

The Department of Psychology seeks to provide psychometric tools to assess quality of life and other related or influencing psychological variables, whether positively or negatively. This is pursued through the specialization in measurement and evaluation, guided by the most advanced and rigorous theories in the field. The department also studies these variables and offers counseling and therapeutic programs through the psychology specialization. Additionally, it aims to enhance the quality of learning and teaching among students at Unaizah Colleges by examining learning issues, theories, styles, and influencing factors such as intelligence, thinking, mental processes, learning strategies, memory techniques, and more.

This laboratory was established at the College of Humanities and Administrative Studies during the academic year 1446 AH / 2025 AD, with the aim of:
