E-Attendance Policies:

  1. The default attendance is in terms of calculating the hours and the minimum hours that must be attended, provided that this percentage is not less than 75% of the number of communication hours for the course.

  2. The E-learning and Distance Education Unit undertakes the process of follow-up, supervision, and monitoring of students' access to e-learning systems and virtual classes.

  3. Monitoring electronic attendance and absence and recording it automatically for students in lectures through virtual classroom systems.

  4. Monitoring electronic attendance and absence and recording it automatically for students in the e-learning management system "Blackboard".

  5. Electronic attendance reports are sent weekly to faculty members.

  6. The student's non-compliance with the minimum percentages of the "electronic attendance" system, which is approved, will lead to his denial of entering the electronic exam, or the final attendance exam.

  7. We adhere to the executive regulations approved by Onaizah colleges in this regard through the Admission and Registration Department, and the E-learning and Distance Learning Unit.

 

Electronic Attendance Regulations:

  1. The student is obliged to attend at least 75% of the number of lectures allocated for each course, whether attendance is in the classroom, or through virtual classes for electronic courses, or remote courses, and those who exceed the required percentage are prohibited from entering the exam.

  2. For online courses, participation in educational activities and assignments is considered as attendance for this week.

  3. The student is obligated to participate in the activities included in the electronic course at the times announced by the course instructor, and if the specified time is exceeded, the student can be considered absent.

  4. The standards of attendance and deprivation followed by the university as announced by the Admission and Registration Department are applied in electronic courses.

  5. The student is committed to correct behavior during the electronic lectures, and in the event that any of the students violates the appropriate behavior of the university, the professor may consider the student absent.

  6. The student in the virtual class is obliged to attend the whole class throughout the announced period, and if the student leaves the virtual class before the time without obtaining the professor’s permission, he can be considered absent.

  7. The course instructor clarifies the dates of the virtual lectures, and their preparation for the course in his part of the system, while specifying the rules governing attendance and the required attendance rate.

  8. In cooperation with the Admission and Registration Department, the number of participants in one virtual class is determined not to exceed 35 students per virtual class; to ensure efficient interaction.

  9. The student is obligated to participate in the virtual class with the course instructor as if he was in the physical class, and if the student does not respond or refuses to participate, he is considered absent.

  10. In the event that the number of students in one division exceeds 35 students in the electronic course, the students are divided into groups; The number in one group does not exceed the specified number.

  11. The number of students in general preparation courses can be increased by no more than 35 students per division.
