The Artificial Intelligence program contributes to preparing students to build smart computing devices and robots, which will have direct and indirect repercussions, especially in the fields of industry, energy, water sector, community service and several other fields, thus meeting the growing demand from the local and international market.

  1. Demonstrates basic knowledge in mathematics and science to identify, analyze and solve problems related to disciplines relevant to the field of study.

  2. Evaluates and classifies algorithms, processes, and systems using analytical methods and modeling techniques.

  3. Learn to build different syntaxes for programming languages and compare the advantages and disadvantages of algorithms to propose solutions to artificial intelligence problems.

  4. Designs, implements and evaluates practical solutions to specific problems in the field against a set of requirements in the context of his specialization.

  5. Develops himself by obtaining practical experience using the tools, techniques and practices required to solve problems in his field of study.

  6. Incorporates off-the-shelf or customized computer solutions to solve problems related to artificial intelligence.

  7. Apply competence related to presenting and communicating ideas effectively in various professional, academic and social settings.
