On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the Quality Assurance Administration held a workshop for faculty members to discuss aligning assessment methods and learning outcomes with the electronic quality system. The workshop was held in cooperation with the Development Administration. The number of attendees reached (80) faculty members from both colleges, both male and female.

The workshop included: aligning assessment methods with learning outcomes (the linking matrix), the importance of assessment in achieving the intended learning outcomes, how to measure learning outcomes at the course level, procedures for uploading documents related to learning outcomes to the internal quality system, preparing a course report and developing improvement recommendations based on an analysis of the assessment results, and finally, closing the quality circle at the course level.

The workshop was presented by His Excellency the Director of the Quality Assurance Administration, Dr. Bandar Al-Humaidi Al-Mutairi presented an example of a course on the system to illustrate how assessment methods align with learning outcomes, measure and comment on outcomes, and submit the required evidence in line with the assessment tools associated with each outcome. This ensures that there are no discrepancies or inconsistencies in measurement results across different sections and divisions, which is reflected in the measurement of learning outcomes at the program level.

This workshop is part of an ongoing, periodic series of workshops and meetings aimed at spreading the culture of quality and accreditation among male and female faculty members in the colleges, in accordance with the operational plan of the Quality Assurance Administration and in a manner that achieves the colleges' mission and strategic objectives.
