Motivational Mechanisms for Development Administration
- Issuing certificates of appreciation and recognition for each program attended by a faculty member within the operational plan.
- Awarding points in the Monitoring Bank (Rased Bank) when a faculty member obtains a participation certificate in any professional development program that qualifies for the bank’s excellence rewards.
- Linking training participation to the annual performance evaluation, which qualifies employees for the annual salary increment, subject to the applicable conditions.
- Granting the colleague an “inter-semester leave” during the following semester upon achieving the minimum required training hours/days during the academic term (30 training hours or 10 training days), provided that online courses do not exceed 25% of the total training activities.
- Nominating the colleague for the Professional Development Excellence Award within the colleges, in accordance with the regulations governing the award.
- The colleges shall cover 50% of the fees for distinguished external training courses when an administrative department nominates one of its staff members to attend, in coordination with the Development Administration and subject to the approval of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, according to the established conditions and criteria, with a maximum of two courses per academic year.
- Periodically announcing (each semester) the colleague with the highest participation in professional development activities (60 training hours or 20 training days), recognizing them on the Honor Board, and publishing the announcement through the colleges’ official account.
- The colleges shall cover 50% of the fees for professional and certification programs for a colleague after obtaining formal approval from their supervisor and endorsement from the Development Administration, with a maximum of two certifications per academic year.
- Providing financial compensation or compensatory leave to colleagues supervising training programs and courses outside official working hours, in accordance with arrangements agreed upon with the Development Administration.
