The administration of the College of Engineering and Information Technology is keen to provide an appropriate academic environment for study; It established the Student Affairs Committee as it is the body directly related to the student in order to achieve the mission of the colleges, and since the student is the focus of the educational process and is the main pillar on which the college philosophy is based, so the college administration is keen to take care of the student’s personality in an integrated manner that includes psychological and social aspects and the consolidation of principles and Islamic values in their souls and provide all the services the student needs to help them achieve academic excellence, develop their sense of responsibility and belonging, provide assistance and guidance, prepare programs for cultural, artistic and sports activities, follow up on their issues and problems and provide possible solutions for them, give lectures and hold seminars in various fields, and present prizes symbolism and in kind for the academically outstanding male and female students. The committee also acts as a link between the student and the various departments of the college on the one hand, and the local community on the other. This distinguished role of the committee makes it the most influential committee in university life, and therefore the greatest burden lies in achieving its mission and goals derived from the mission and goals of the colleges, by working within one framework of well-thought-out plans and programs that are implemented through its departments.
